We made a Solar powered oven for inquiry. Our Aim was to cook a chocolate button on a cracker using the solar powered oven that we made.  First we made the solar powered oven out of a box,tinfoil,glad wrap,glue,tape and black paper.

First we put the glued the tinfoil on then we pot the glad wrap around it but not on the tinfoil, we also put tinfoil at the bottom to reflect heat then on top we put a black paper to absorb heat,

Once we finished we found out we couldn’t eat it until Monday. but on Monday I was unlucky because I had basketball practice and I didn’t get to eat it, but my friends told me that it was really good,

I learnt that tinfoil reflects heat.

Every Monday for the last 2 weeks we have been doing something called Monday Mash Up.                     Monday Mash Up is where we get to do fun but educational learning like cooking and grading.                             The first week the teachers gave us options,Art,garding,Japanese and cooking I did Art with Aili and Mia.          We are making  a princess comedie stopmoshon it is really fun have you made a comedie before?

me and the other year 6 made a Rowing Machine for CRT today. Every one got put into groups of 4 It was very frustrating and hard .Because I was one of the only 2 people that was working but I had lots of fun. I really enjoyed the challenge in building the Rowing Machine. I would like to try another team because some of my team weren’t helping.     have you ever done Epro 8 if you have than leave me a comment.

Last week we went to Living Springs camp for 3 days. We did lots of activities but my favorite activities were mountain boarding and rock climbing. Mountain boarding is my favorite because there are so many levels that you can try and if your really good you can do the university level.Have you been mountain boarding before?

I found it challenging when I was the photographer and I couldn’t help building the vehicle.

I enjoyed building the dinosaur because I really like building because I find it fun.

This term and last term we have been reading about the children of the Rush. So we made a diorama about one scene in the book.

The seen that we did was when the tent  got washed away from the river.

There are no pitchers in the book but the author explains what it would look like. I was not here when we started the dioramas so I had to join a group.

I chose to research Simone Biles because she is my favorite  PRO gymnast and I really like gymnastics.  It is the sport I like the most. Simone is a trailblazer for everyone in woman’s and men’s gymnastics.

Simon has made skills that no woman gymnast  can do.
